The most complete PSA 10 WotC collection ever assembled. Live now on Alt.

Possibly the greatest Pokémon Wizards of the Coast master set is heading to auction on Alt.

Over 1,000 PSA 10 graded slabs spanning from 1st Edition Base Set to Skyridge, a collection 15 years in the making, hitting public auction for the first time.

When Wizards of the Coast took the reins of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 1998, they brought with them the same pioneering spirit that had already revolutionized tabletop gaming through Magic: The Gathering. What they didn't bring was a printing process built for posterity.

WotC's early Pokémon sets were produced at scale and speed, with card stock and printing techniques never designed to survive decades of handling, humidity, or even a careful slide back into a binder sleeve. The result is a gem mint rate so low across Base Set, Fossil, Jungle, and the sets that followed that PSA 10 examples of even common cards are genuinely scarce, let alone the holofoils and first edition stamps that collectors prize most.

That's what makes what we're bringing to auction so extraordinary: a near-complete run of every Wizards of the Coast holographic set, 1,082 cards, every single one graded PSA 10. A collection that reflects not just decades of passion, but the near-impossibility of assembling perfection from an era that was never meant to produce it.

Alt Auction Schedule

1 — May 22 - June 4
1st Edition Base Set + Neo Genesis
Where it all started. The English TCG's 102-card 1st Edition Base Set, paired with Neo Genesis, the first main expansion of the Pokémon TCG.

2 — May 29 - June 11
Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge, Jungle, and Fossil
Five sets, each with their own identity and collector following. Jungle and Fossil completed the original 151, Team Rocket introduced the Dark Pokémon mechanic, and the Gym sets immortalized the series' most iconic characters. Holo rares across all five are among the scarcest PSA 10s in the hobby, with print runs and paper stock that were never meant to survive intact.

3 — June 5 - June 18
Expedition Holos + Aquapolis
The first e-Series set and a turning point for the TCG. Expedition's reverse holo texture was notoriously unforgiving, picking up surface wear almost on contact, which makes PSA 10 holo rares from this set exceptionally difficult to find. A clean Expedition PSA 10 is a flex in any high-end collection.

4 — June 12 - June 25
Neo Revelation, Neo Discovery, and Neo Destiny
The Shining Pokémon, Mewtwo, Gyarados, Magikarp, are secret rares before secret rares existed. Printed in extremely limited quantities with a distinctive gold foil treatment that was nearly impossible to keep pristine, PSA 10 Shinings are among the most coveted cards in the entire WotC catalog. This lot is a case study in scarcity.

5 — June 19 - July 2
Skyridge Crystals, Base Set 2, and Legendary Collection Holos
Crystal Charizard, Crystal Lugia, Crystal Ho-Oh: the holy grail of WotC-era collecting. These cards command prices that rival 1st Edition Base Set holos, and for good reason. Skyridge is widely considered the hardest WotC set to complete in PSA 10, with print quality so inconsistent that gem mint examples are genuinely extraordinary. This is where the collection ends, and where most collectors never get to begin.
